My first real taste of the outdoors came in the form of an expedition to the Lake District as a teenager. Halfway up Scafell Pike we were caught in an almighty hail and thunder storm. I was tired and drenched through, but loved every minute of it and I’ve never looked back since, with trips to the Middle East, Asia and New Zealand. Next up? Who knows…
After graduating university with a degree in journalism I completed a lifelong ambition spending six months travelling around Austria and France on a ski season. When not at HQ you can usually find me planning new adventures, surfing on the coast, skiing in the mountains or trying to balance between trees on a slackline.
As a mother of three, my biggest adventures are about getting outdoors with the kids on the weekend, going for walks in the countryside and exploring the best that Warwickshire has to offer. Having graduated from the University of London many years ago, I joined Adventurize Media in 2011 and the rest, as they say, is history.
I’ve worked for Adventurize Media for six years now, though I took a hiatus in 2011 to ski guide in Meribel. I’ve always chased adventure. I climbed the Eiger when I was 15, and Mont Blanc the year after. Having seen glimpses of the beauty that this planet has to offer, I've made it my mission to explore and experience as much of it as possible.
